*SRD* Update: Vintage Fair Goodness

I’ve recently joined the Vintage Fair, the first ever clothing fair I’ve ever joined. I’ll be honest in saying I was very nervous about the whole thing. I’m not a great designer, even if I’ve been around in SL for a pretty long time and I’ve never had the confidence to join fairs as big as this one.

The Vintage Fair officially starts on November 11, 2011 until December 3, 2011. I’ll post the Slurl and send a LM to the group once we get the go signal.

Anyway, wish me luck and do drop by the fair. There’s a lot of oodles of stuff for everyone and trust me, if I didn’t need to pay tier I’d be wasting all my lindens shopping like no tomorrow.

Yes, I’ve been told I’ve got a problem.

Well to start off, I’ll be introducing The Deb. A 1920’s flapper style outfit. I’ve done a few 1920’s outfits before but this is my first flapper outfit. It comes with the following:  blouse (with or without the front net) in both shirt and jacket versions, glitchpants, flexi skirt, and a pearl necklace.

There are three alternate colors to choose from. Each costs L$220, and a Fatpack containing all three (3) costs L$ 600.

Flowers for Biba is a 1970’s outfit. This was an inspiration to the original Biba dress, I think it was a brand in the 1970’s (or so my book says). I loved the simplicity of it and I tried to emulate it in SL. I’m not sure if I got it right but well I tried. I did vacillate between the short skirt popular in the era to the slightly more longer hippy style skirt, so I decided to do both.

The outfit comes with the following: blouse in both jacket and shirt versions, two (2) glitchpants, two (2) sculpted skirts (disco short and knee length), sculpted uniboob, and sculpted sleeves for both upper and lower arms.

There are four (4) available colors to choose from, each costing L$ 175 each, and a Fatpack containing all four (4) designs go for L$ 525.

I have a Vintage Fair Gift available to all, and will only be available at the Vintage Fair during the entire event. You don’t need to be part of the group to receive the gift this time, you just need to show up. (~.^).

The Deb and Flowers for Biba are exclusive only to the Vintage Fair until Dec. 3, 2011. I do have some of my older items available at the Fair, and they’ll be at discount (they will also be unavailable at the Main Store during this time until the end of the fair).

All items are Copy / Modify / NO TRANSFER.

Watch out for updates on the SLurls and Landmarks! ♥

Working Gal

I don’t know why sometimes but the simpler the dress the more I feel like I’m struggling to get it right. There’s something about the simplicity of clothing that mayhaps tend to stump me. It’s the same kind of thing I get when I design men’s clothes, which is probably why it takes me forever to make them.

Working Girl, is the latest in my attempt at making the Moga look, Prohibition inspired obviously.

The outfit includes: Jacket w/ Blouse, Jacket only (jacket), Blouse only (jacket & shirt), glitchpants (pants & underpants), prim skirt (scripted & non-scripted), sculpted prim sleeves, & sculpted clotche hat.

You can choose from five (5) colors: Chocolate, Ebony, Peach, Purple & Teal at L$400 each.

A fatpack is available at L$1,200.

My items are also available in XStreet SL, just click here to see my list of items.

This is going to be a “Cold Storage” sale, as the discounted items will be taken off from the shelves in-world and will only be available at XStreet SL after.

The sale is limited to the Main Store only.

*Edit to add: I’ve fixed up the linked vendors in both my Main Store and my store in Caledon. Ugh I feel so silly now.

Tequila Roses

Spring is on the way (I wonder what that’s like…living in the tropics doesn’t have much in terms of seasons), and I’ve set up a second 1920’s spring day outfit. Now I’d like to apologize now as this outfit should have been out earlier… and it wasn’t because I was too busy squinting at my PSP’s screen oogling at Tales of the World.

The outfit contains the following: Blouse, Skirt, Glitchpants, Sculpted hat, sculpted sleeves, & prim skirts (both scripted and non-scripted).

You can choose from four (4) colors: Antique, Blue, Moss and Sepia

A fatpack is also available, but instead contains an extra pink version that isn’t sold separately.

Each outfit costs: L$ 400

Fatpack costs: L$ 1600

Please note, the fatpack is only available in copy/modify/NO TRANSFER

Clothes are copy/modify/no transfer.

Transfer versions or gift items can be bought from a separate vendor in my main store in Shengri La, Caledon & Diloba. Or you could buy them from SLExchange.

Spring in the 1920’s

My boyfriend had always been a big fan of the Prohibition era, home of Pulp. Although I’m not sure exactly how popular Pulp is in Second Life, I’ve decided to go ahead and make a few outfits that aren’t flapper outfits.

Now a big characterization of fashion in the 1920’s is the lack of curves and appearance of clean straight lines. Shorter hair and cloche hats were suddenly very popular.

This is probably going to be a reason why, every outfit I’ll be making will have it’s own matching hat. Unfortunately for this outfit, I couldn’t make the hat bell-like enough since I based it off an old 1920’s pic and it called for a wider hat. Spring after all calls for, far prettier hats. 😉

Spring Time Jazz includes the following: Blouse, Skirt, Glitchpants, Sculpted Prim Sleeves, Sculpted Hat, Prim Skirt (scripted & non-scripted).

There are four (4) colors to choose from: Blue, Green, Lavender & Olive.

There’s also a fatpack available, with discounted price. Buy all four with only the price of three. 🙂

Each outfit costs: L$ 400

Fatpack costs: L$ 1200

Please note, the fatpack is only available in copy/modify/NO TRANSFER

Clothes are copy/modify/no transfer.

Transfer versions or gift items can be bought from a separate vendor in my main store in Shengri La, Caledon & Diloba. Or you could buy them from SLExchange.

I didn’t get to announce this on the blog earlier, but my store has finally settled down, it’s now up, and you can now teleport in without complications. 🙂

Sweet Snow, Better Late Than Never

Like I mentioned in my previous post, my lolita outfits are now heading towards the “minimalist” style direction which I guess is more at par with the more current trend in Lolita style outfits.

And given I didn’t want to leave December without at least one cold-weather outfit, hence Sweet Snow. Better late than never, I guess.

Sweet Snow is a jacket style outfit, so she isn’t really made to carry a lot of lace in the first place. However if you just take off the fur cuffs and collar, she turns into a smart looking dress with the barest touch of lace to give it that sweet, but elegant look which also makes her something that non-EGLers can wear without looking too frilly.

Outfit includes the following: blouse, glitch pants, prim cuffs, prim cuff and sculpty prim hat.

Six (6) color alternates to choose from include: Chocolate, Midnight, Peach Cream, Pine, Purple & Snow.

All items are copy/modify/no transfer.

Transferable (Gift) versions are available in a separate JEVN Vendor in Shengri-La, Caledon, Diloba store branches and SLExchange (mod/trans only).

Item is MetaCard available.

Speaking of MetaCards, the store is still undergoing making it MetaCard friendly. Hopefully I’ll be done in a week or so. (^_^)b
