New 50’s party dress I made. Just in time for Christmas. Had been a fairly busy last weeks fixing up the New Main Store and certainly the next few months in RL for me. Wish me luck, folks!

Best Friends is a 50’s inspired dress, perfect for the holidays and this upcoming New Year’s celebration. The outfit comes with plain, or with golden snowflake design. The outfit includes: blouse (shirt & jacket ver.), glitchpants and flexi skirt.

There four (4) colors to choose from, each costing L$ 200 each, and the Fatpack with all four alternate colors costs L$600 (four dresses, for the price of three).

*SRD* 50% off Sale

I’m having a 50% off sale, until the Dec. 3, 2011. I’m currently renovating my store, making it a bit smaller and taking down 90% of my items. They are very old anyway and I need to update my store items and well shrink my store. Tier is atrocious and I’m not earning to actually justify the land I’m sitting on.

With that said, I’d like to clear up though majority of my items in my Main store will be taken down, the items on my specialty branches will remain. Meaning, my items in Caledon and Kingdom of Sand will remain as is. This also means that those who bought my Affiliate vendors will not experience any of my items being pulled down, as both for my other smaller branches and affiliate vendors borrow from the same servers.

Eventually, once I’ve amassed a more up-to-date collection, I’ll be taking down the items in those vendors. But not so for a long time.

My SL Marketplace page is another matter and all my stuff from the very old to the latest things I’ve had will be posted there for now.

Sale ends on Dec. 3, 2011 if I’m lucky. Once the store is up and running I’ll post a new slurl, and send the Landmark out.

*SRD* Update: Vintage Fair Goodness

I’ve recently joined the Vintage Fair, the first ever clothing fair I’ve ever joined. I’ll be honest in saying I was very nervous about the whole thing. I’m not a great designer, even if I’ve been around in SL for a pretty long time and I’ve never had the confidence to join fairs as big as this one.

The Vintage Fair officially starts on November 11, 2011 until December 3, 2011. I’ll post the Slurl and send a LM to the group once we get the go signal.

Anyway, wish me luck and do drop by the fair. There’s a lot of oodles of stuff for everyone and trust me, if I didn’t need to pay tier I’d be wasting all my lindens shopping like no tomorrow.

Yes, I’ve been told I’ve got a problem.

Well to start off, I’ll be introducing The Deb. A 1920’s flapper style outfit. I’ve done a few 1920’s outfits before but this is my first flapper outfit. It comes with the following:  blouse (with or without the front net) in both shirt and jacket versions, glitchpants, flexi skirt, and a pearl necklace.

There are three alternate colors to choose from. Each costs L$220, and a Fatpack containing all three (3) costs L$ 600.

 

Flowers for Biba is a 1970’s outfit. This was an inspiration to the original Biba dress, I think it was a brand in the 1970’s (or so my book says). I loved the simplicity of it and I tried to emulate it in SL. I’m not sure if I got it right but well I tried. I did vacillate between the short skirt popular in the era to the slightly more longer hippy style skirt, so I decided to do both.

The outfit comes with the following: blouse in both jacket and shirt versions, two (2) glitchpants, two (2) sculpted skirts (disco short and knee length), sculpted uniboob, and sculpted sleeves for both upper and lower arms.

There are four (4) available colors to choose from, each costing L$ 175 each, and a Fatpack containing all four (4) designs go for L$ 525.

 

 

I have a Vintage Fair Gift available to all, and will only be available at the Vintage Fair during the entire event. You don’t need to be part of the group to receive the gift this time, you just need to show up. (~.^).

The Deb and Flowers for Biba are exclusive only to the Vintage Fair until Dec. 3, 2011. I do have some of my older items available at the Fair, and they’ll be at discount (they will also be unavailable at the Main Store during this time until the end of the fair).

*SRD* Discount Items

It has been harrowing past few months (and currently going to get a lot more busy too), a lot of RL stuff that kept me away from putting out new stuff and the like. Also found out the floor of my store disappeared (and I don’t know why—I was told that some overzealous LL employee deleted all the megaprims made by a certain person) and the store build is missing in my inventory so I can’t replace the store now.

However I’ll be building a new store (God help me) so until then, I’m setting up some discount items to tide you guys over until the build is over. I’ll try to put up some new stuff in between, as I really really need to, but until then some lolita and fantasy outfits will be set out as discounted items (also the proceeds will go to help me buy the sculpted windows and doors I need..gah!).

Once the build is up, the sale will most likely be over and those items will be taken out of the grid (but not out of SL Marketplace–sale not applicable there).

Just look for the glowy wall and the equally glowy sign indicating the discount items. 🙂

*SRD* Holiday Sale

When you’re older and you live in a Catholic country, Christmas is equivalent to Holy Week where you punish yourself to atone for your sins. 😐

At this rate, I highly doubt I am going to get anything done so I’ll be holding a 50-60% off sale,  Selected Items Only until January 1, 2011. It’s going to be a sort of hunt so you’ll need to find out what items are on sale and stuff. I’ll be adding one to several items on sale every day until then, with a random freebie somewhere in the store on the 25th. So watch out for that.

*SRD* Update: Melisande

Let there be cake!

Or a kitty, which I got last July. So just in case you were wondering why I wasn’t around, I was taking care of a slightly fussy, now very spoiled Ragdoll kitten. Pictures will come later but for now, onward to the updates!

Melisande was inspired by Marie Antoinette meets a bit of modern and ballet. It has lovely options for ballgowns to wear in a fantasy or Victorian affairs. A dash of modern to give that vintage but still glamorous look. Topped with a cute ballet tutu you can wear to a costume party or a performance!

*SRD* Update: Dark Butterfly

The past few weeks have been a mite hectic. Stuff happened, more stuff happened, got stressed off my rocker due to some financial problems coupled with some health problems (I now have *two* doctors who will kill me for missing my tests), not to mention running out of medication. *grumbles*

So I apologize greatly if things got delayed yet again.

Dark Butterfly is a fairy gown, inspired–quite obviously–to the butterfly. Now I wanted a gown not just to be pretty but also to be versatile. I was also being indecisive as I did not know which style to stick it into, so I decided to stick them ALL.

Several different skirts, and sleeves, option for ruffles to your blouse or a pair of butterfly wings. Walking around with a small butterfly to your hip, or have a cloud of them follow you around, it’s clearly up to you.

The outfit includes the following: Blouse (shirt & jacket), Glitchpants (3 styles: long, mid, short), Underpants, prim skirt (2 styles for long skirt, 1 style for mid length skirt, 2 short skirt styles, skirt cape–total of 6 skirt styles),  prim sleeves (4 styles), Butterfly Cloud (3 types: for big skirts, slender skirt and solo butterfly on hip), Butterfly Wings & sculpted ruffles.

How many combination you can get with that, I don’t really know. 🙂

A friend of me showed me a new fashion trend called the “Mori Girl”. It fascinated me because it looks so sweet and down to earth. It gives a feeling of  relaxation, of gardens, of picnics, of a slower life style without the bustle of city life. Provincial and sweet was what I was going for.

The dress and jacket are in separates. That way you can mix and match to your desire. In fact, the dress’ skirt can be worn independently so you can pair with your own tops. More flexibility.

Sweet Pea Dress comes with the following: Blouse (jacket & shirt), glitch pants, Flexi prim skirt (2 parts: pelvis and upper leg attachments).

*SRD* St. Patrick’s Day Hunt!

Hi guys! I’ll be holding a St. Patrick’s Hunt, called the Golden Clover Hunt at my store.

Several dozen golden clovers are scattered all over, some are even hidden, but only two out of those contain a prize. Also during that week, I’ll be occasionally changing the clovers’ hiding place for added challenge. 😀

The Golden Clover Hunt will be from March 14-20, 2010 SLT and will be held at the Silver Rose Design Main Store only.

So mark those calendars for the hunt!

The prizes for this hunt are the Miss Clover (Green) and Clover Girl (Green). Each golden clover will have either dress (not both 😛 ).
